Kamino Finance is a multi-product DeFi protocol on Solana that combines automated liquidity management, a lending market, leveraged yield strategies, and liquid staking into a single platform. It launched the Kamino Lend product in 2023 and quickly grew to become one of the largest Solana lending protocols by total value locked, alongside the pre-existing Kamino Liquidity automated LP management tool.
KMNO is the protocol's governance and incentive token. It is used to vote on risk parameters, fee settings, and product roadmap decisions. Kamino sits at the intersection of Solana's lending and liquidity infrastructure; its lending markets accept Solana LSTs, major stablecoins, and blue-chip tokens as collateral. For more on the Solana ecosystem, see our Solana page.
KMNO launched via a TGE in 2024 and trades on Solana DEXs and select centralized exchanges. The token price reflects Kamino's TVL trajectory, new product launches, and overall Solana DeFi sentiment. Live data on this page updates every 60 seconds.
What drives KMNO price:
For long-term price scenarios, see our Kamino price forecast.
Kamino Lend is an isolated and cross-collateral lending market on Solana. Unlike monolithic money markets, Kamino organizes assets into market groups with shared risk parameters, which limits contagion from a bad asset listing affecting only its own group rather than the whole protocol.

The original Kamino product automates concentrated-liquidity management on Solana DEXs including Orca Whirlpools, Raydium CLMMs, and Meteora DLMM. Users deposit a pair of tokens and Kamino's strategies automatically rebalance the position when the price moves outside the active range, compounding fees in the process.
Kamino Multiply is a one-click leverage product that loops SOL/LST borrow-lend cycles to amplify staking yields. A user deposits JitoSOL, Kamino borrows SOL against it, swaps to JitoSOL, and repeats, increasing net LST exposure at the cost of a borrowing rate spread.
The strategy profits when the LST staking yield exceeds the SOL borrow rate. Risk is in the liquidation threshold: if SOL price drops sharply while the position is levered, the health factor can breach the liquidation threshold before the user can deleverage. Kamino exposes health-factor monitoring and one-click deleverage to mitigate this.
KMNO is available on Solana DEXs and a growing number of centralized platforms:
Kamino, Marginfi, and Solend are the three largest Solana lending protocols. Kamino differentiates with its integrated LP-lend composability (kTokens as collateral) and Multiply leverage product. Marginfi focuses on a clean cross-collateral money market and deep Solana-native integrations. Solend was the original Solana lender, holds legacy TVL, but has seen slower feature development. For comparison with Ethereum-based lenders, see our Aave page.
KMNO is a newer token with a shorter track record than most large-cap DeFi assets.
